Seneca Woods has been dedicated to working with children and families since he embarked on his professional journey at the tender age of 18. Throughout his career, he has engaged in various capacities at multiple schools across Los Angeles County, orchestrating numerous afterschool programs where he coached sports including basketball, soccer, and football, while also providing mentorship to both kids and their families. In his endeavors across notable areas such as Pacific Palisades, Malibu, Beverly Hills, Compton, and Watts, Seneca quickly established himself as a well-respected and recognizable name in the realm of family engagement throughout Los Angeles. His expertise in mediating a variety of family and employee conflicts has further solidified his reputation. He has taken the initiative to develop numerous summer and afterschool enrichment programs tailored for LAUSD schools. Additionally, he has led several employee engagement workshops, contributing to his department being recognized as one of the highest-performing departments within the District. Following this, Seneca transitioned to Head Start, initially serving as a Family Service Associate, and, after three years of commendable work, he ascended to the role of Lead Family Service Associate. After an additional three years of exemplary service, he was promoted to Family Engagement Coordinator and became a Certified Family Engagement Instructor through the University of Connecticut. In this role, he successfully implemented and managed over 20 distinct parenting and employment workshops throughout Los Angeles. Seneca’s steadfast mission is to foster peaceful resolutions and to promote understanding by providing professional mediation services for family and commercial disputes.
